Therapist Profile - Kathi Pauncz

Kathi is a Registered Psychologist and a member of the esteemed College of Counselling Psychologists.

She has worked as a psychologist in private practice for over 15 years and has taught at both universities and at Tafe. She also has previous experience working in private psychiatric hospitals, community organisations, and at the Royal North Shore Hospital. She currently complements her private practice with a role as Counselling Manager at LifeLine.

Kathi primarily uses advanced CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Solution Focused Therapy when working with her clients. However, she maintains a flexible and eclectic approach to suit the specific needs of her clients, and will often draw upon her training in other counselling modalities such as Mindfulness, EMDR, and Person-Centred psychology.

Kathi has worked extensively with clients on a broad range of issues including trauma, gambling and other addictions, depression, anxiety, anger management, grief & loss. Kathi is also a highly skilled relationship and marriage counsellor, helping couples and families to communicate more effectively and resolve conflict.

She is an experienced Clinical Supervisor and trainer of other counsellors and psychologists.
