Therapist Profile - Meg Cunningham

Meg is a Counsellor with over 20 years of experience in the fields of mental health, workplace wellbeing and adult education. She holds a Master of Counselling and psychotherapy and is professionally registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Meg uses a variety of therapies and techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Solution-Focused Therapy, Time-limited Therapy, Positive Psychology and psychoeducation.

Meg is experienced supporting individuals through many concerns, life transitions and personal development. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues, low self-esteem, general stress, work-related issues such as bullying, life transitions and adjustment, among many other issues.

She also has a special interest helping clients in weight management and disordered eating, and ageing with resilience and psychological flexibility.

Whether the sessions take place in person or online, Meg creates a safe, judgement free environment where her clients can express their concerns and explore pathways to growth and change.
