Phoebe Bowen is a Provisional Psychologist and holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Western Sydney University, as well as a Masters of Professional Psychology from the University of South Australia.
Prior to her career in the counselling space, Phoebe gained experience in a number of mental health settings, including in the community, youth and disability sectors. Through her work as a Positive Behaviour Support practitioner, Phoebe collaborated with mental health professionals to assist clients presenting with varied and complex concerns including ADHD, autism and behavioural issues, ultimately helping shape her individualised approach to therapy today.
In private practice, Phoebe utilises a collaborative framework, helping her clients identify their negative or unhelpful patterns of behaviour and overcome these by reshaping thoughts in a positive and sustainable manner. Focusing on a variety of approaches, Phoebe uses contemporary evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as well as introspective methods like Psychotherapy. In her sessions, Phoebe assists her clients with a range of concerns including anxiety, phobias, health anxiety, depression, chronic pain and more complex mental health such as OCD, ADHD and bipolar disorder.
